Cleaning Service
Berry Clean, based in San Francisco, provides cleaning services, for basic regular maintenance of one’s house to a thorough deep clean, which is what they were hired for, for a unit that was being put up for sale and had to be cleaned top to bottom. They cleaned the balcony, which was extremely dirty, made the kitchen sparkle, cleaned fan blades, cleaned the carpet (twice), scrubbed the floors and I even saw them washing spots on the walls. They are not inexpensive, but they are very thorough and the fact that they’ll do a regular clean AND clean the carpet at the same time makes it a good deal. (Anne A, 9/2022)

It is women owned and they recycle as much as they can after removing. They do junk clean out, garage clean out, hoarder clean out, estate clean outs. They remove appliances, e-waste, furniture.…. Moving Companies
Up and Up Moving, Tommy Augmon, 510.518.2770, 3 hour minimum for 2 people. I had some moving of furniture that required lifting a heavy piece of cabinetry 7′ off the ground, something I didn’t want to ask my friends to do. They came the same day, deadlifted it in place and the job was done in less than 15 minutes. I did pay the 3-hour minimum, but they gave me a 15% discount for paying in cash. Moving Professionals 510.401.4206: I needed to move a massive bookcase downstairs and over to a neighbor’s house. Riley and Will from Moving Professionals did an amazing job with this: they wrapped the bookcase first to make sure it would not scrape my walls, and they tried every possible position to ease it around the corner of the staircase. When that proved impossible, they moved all the junk stored in my second stairwell so they could take it out by that route. They were courteous, careful, strong and intelligent, everything one could want in their movers. They charge $100 an hour, with a two-hour minimum, but because my job was small (it took about 45 minutes) they gave me a discount. Highly recommended…..Alix S 2024
